We specialise in end-of-life tyre management, using plasma pyrolysis to convert scrap tyres into recovered carbon black (rCB) and reducing tyre landfills around the world.

Recovered Carbon Black (rCB)

Recovered Carbon Black (rCB) is a type of carbon black reclaimed from end-of-life tyres. At Global Enviro, based in Singapore, we source most of our rCB from these tyres due to their availability and consistent supply, which plays a significant role in rubber recycling. Carbon black is a crucial component in manufacturing tyres, rubber products, plastics, and coatings.

Despite the diverse materials in tyres, our rCB comprises a high concentration of carbon black, providing both environmental and technical benefits, as well as offering a sustainable alternative to virgin carbon black.

Plasma Pyrolysis

Global Enviro’s patented radio frequency induced plasma pyrolysis technology stands out as the superior method for generating high-quality, low-emission Recovered Carbon Black (rCB) compared to traditional pyrolysis methods.

This advanced technology uses radio frequency energy to create a highly controlled plasma environment, achieving significantly higher temperatures and more efficient thermal decomposition of tyres. The result is a cleaner process with minimal emissions, as the high temperatures ensure the complete breakdown of harmful compounds.

Additionally, the precision of radio frequency plasma allows for the production of rCB with a more consistent and higher carbon content, while the presence of beneficial materials like silica and zinc is carefully managed to enhance the final product’s properties. This innovative approach not only reduces environmental impact but also ensures a superior, sustainable alternative to virgin carbon black for manufacturers.
